On February 3, the private event for the advertising business Advertising Hub of the Northern Capital will take place in Saint Petersburg. In framework of the project, suppliers of advertising services and products will immediately discuss their cooperation with senior managers of marketing departments of large- and medium-sized businesses from all over Russia.

Sergei Voronkov, President of the RUEF and Chairman of the Commission for Congress and Exhibition Activities of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), took part in the Report and Election Congress of RSPP.

The union was established in December 1991 at the Constituent Assembly of the heads of exhibition organizations in St. Petersburg. The assembly was held at the St. Petersburg City Hall, and the guests of honor were Mayor Anatoly Sobchak and Deputy Mayor Vladimir Putin. It included the signing of the Foundation Agreement on the creation and activities of the Union, the adoption of the Charter and the elections of executives.

On December 9, the session named “Preservation and Development of the Congress and Exhibition Industry in the Region. The Goals of Regional Organizers and Exhibition Centers" was held as part of the general assembly of members of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF). Among the participants were representatives of the event industry from Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Republic of Tatarstan, Sverdlovsk and Samara regions.

On November 26, the winners of the leading federal award in the field of business tourism Russian Business Travel & MICE Award were named in Yekaterinburg as part of All-Russian MICE Day. ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre and Sergey Voronkov, General Director of Expoforum International, became the award winners.

More than 800 cats, 3,000 dogs, rodents, reptiles, birds, decorative, exotic, and other pets await visitors to the show on December 10–12 in Pavilions F and G.

On December 2, the International Forum Arctic: the Present and the Future was opened in Pavilions G and H. The Arctic agenda gathered at ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre the representatives of science, business, and government from 40 Russian regions and dozens of foreign countries. At the exhibition you can see a model of a LNG floating thermal power plant, samples of products for travel in regions with extreme conditions, thermal imagers, software for measuring pressure in ice, and other developments.
