June 18 is the closing day of the 25th anniversary Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum. This year ExpoForum International and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs have signed a record number of agreements — 11.
On June 18, on the closing day of the 25th Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, the final press conference with participation of Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee and SPIEF Executive Secretary, was held. He accounted for the results of the project: over 4 days, participants had signed 691 agreements for the value of 5.6 tln. rubles.
On June 18, President of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs Sergey Voronkov took part in the roundtable discussion “Northwest Russia as a Paradise for Industrial Tourism: Analysis of Business Cases and Best Practices of Successful Regions”. The event at St. Petersburg booth completed the Business Program of SPIEF-2022 dedicated to business tourism.

On June 18, a discussion session “Tourism as an Influence on the Image, Socio-Economic Development, and Investment Attractivity of a Region” took place in the framework of the 25th Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum. Among its participants were leading specialists in the field of tourism, passenger transportation, authorities and MICE industry, including Sergey Voronkov, CEO of ExpoForum International, and Sergey Korneev, Chairman of the Saint Petersburg Committee for Tourism Development.
On the third day of the 25th Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, Sergey Voronkov, CEO of ExpoForum International, President of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs, and Mikhail Sadchenkov, CEO of National Brand LLC, signed the trilateral agreement.
On June 16, the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs obtained a new foreign partner from Kazakhstan — QazExpoCongress National Company JSC. The Agreement enables development of shared world-class communication venues in order to drive intergovernmental cooperation in the field of convention and exhibition activities.
