ExpoForum’s new facility is attracting major new projects to St. Petersburg, according to Managing Director of Reed Exhibitions’ Russian representative office Gregory Zaraisky, at the signing of an agreement finalising the terms for organising and running the PAP-FOR Russia exhibition at a new venue – the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre.

‘An Inscribed Brick in a Church Wall’ is the name of a campaign organised by the Foundation for the Restoration of Christian Cultural Monuments, of which ExpoForum is one of the founders.

Today ExpoForum is marking a significant date: it is one year since the first pile was installed in the foundation of the new ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre.

On 4 October 2012 a presentation of the Neva 2013 and Transtec 2014 sea and transport congress and exhibition projects took place at Lenexpo as part of the Transtec 2012 International Exhibition and Conference for the Development of Ports and the Shipping Industry.

The rating of Saint Petersburg as the place for holding international forums and congresses has grown during a year by 33 points: the city has moved from the line 112 to 79.

On March 16, 2012 the Executive Director of ExpoForum CJSC, General Director of Lenexpo JSC Sergey Voronkov, was a guest of the live radio station "Echo of Moscow in St. Petersburg". The topic of live broadcast was "Future of St. Petersburg: exhibition capital or exhibition province?"

On December 22, 2011 in Saint Petersburg ExpoForum JSC, TRANSTEC Neva Exhibitions JSC and East West Exhibition Management ltd. (EU) / Dolphin Exhibitions ltd. (UK) made a long-term agreement to jointly hold NEVA international exhibitions and conferences on shipbuilding, navigation, port industry and ocean and continental shelf development, for the period through to 2019. Furthermore, a parallel agreement is being planned in relation to TRANSTEC international transport exhibitions and integrated international conferences on ports development and shipbuilding.
