Africa starts to play an increasing role at the global hydrocarbon market. It opens wide perspectives for collaboration in the oil and gas sphere for both Russian and African corporations. This was the conclusion made by participants of the discussion RUS

In St. Petersburg, leading representatives of the scientific community presented Russian solutions ensuring the independence and sustainable development of the Russian oil and gas industry.

On October 1 during SPIGF 2019, the panel discussion Innovative solutions, PRESERVING AND IMPROVING THE efficiency IN THE oil and gas INDUSTRY took place.

During the session Energy Efficiency of Industrial Facilities: New Technologies and Standards, arranged by Gazprom, UNIDO Centre for International Industrial Cooperation in the Russian Federation, the International Center for Emerging Markets Research and ExpoForum International, participants discussed economical efficiency of energy saving arrangements execution and introduction of energy management standards at the oil and gas facilities.

On 1 October, as part of SPIGF 2019, the company introduced the first Russian remote fueling tanker designed by the group of companies this year.

The gas chemical industry is developing at an increasingly faster pace in Russia, said the supervisor of Trophimuk Institute of Petroleum Geology and Geophysics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexey Kontorovich, opening the conference "Innovative Solutions. Preserving and Improving the Efficiency in the Oil and Gas Industry" on the first day of the 9th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum.

The web-resource, providing information on history and development of Russia’s oil and gas industry, was presented by Ruslan Fatkhutdinov, Chairman of the Youth Council for Russia’s Ministry of Energy, and Anastasia Zvorykina, Curator of the project "Interactive Resource for the Oil and Gas Sector," on Day 1 of SPIGF 2019.
