On 14 October, “Step towards My Profession!” competitions got underway in St. Petersburg among local vocational school students. Over the course of three days, more than 300 students from 58 different professional-education institutions and six Russian regions will showcase various occupational pursuits, take part in master classes and undergo professional testing.

On 14 October, the leading exhibition of advertising technologies in the Russian Northwest – “Advertising. Information. Design. Formatting” (RIDO) – opened at ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre. Within the scope of the business programme, the mayors of 11 Russian cities will discuss outdoor advertising and the festive styling of St. Petersburg in the run-up to the FIFA World Cup in 2018.

Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre has just kicked off the 5th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum – an annual event that brings together the leaders of the gas industry. This year, the form will feature 35 conferences and roundtables on “blue-fuel” and be attended by more than 2,500 industry specialists from 29 world countries.

On 6 October, ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre was the scene of an official guided tour of the exposition at the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, bringing together more than 300 exhibits and three sector-specific projects. The delegation was headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gazprom Viktor Zubkov and Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller.

On 24-27 September, ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre was the scene of the Royal Auto Show – an assembly of more than 150 exclusive super-cars, rare, manually-assembled motorcycles, muscle-cars and classic legends, as well as competitions among drifters, interactive installations – and a beauty pageant.

Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre welcomed the opening of the 13th International Maritime Exhibition and Conference NEVA 2015. The exhibition is being held at two pavilions – F and G – across a space spanning more than 21,000 sq. metres. Participants include over 500 companies and enterprises from more than 34 countries worldwide.

On 18 September, Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre hosted the opening of the 15th Conference of the Russian Urology Society “21st-Century Urology.” Being held for the first time ever with the participation of the European Association of Urology, the event has amassed a delegate count of more than 1,600 area specialists – world-class urologists, department and clinic heads, young specialists and physicians from other practice areas.
