On 4 October, on the sidelines of SPIGF the companies signed a document on the development of technical concept of the Baltic LNG.

On 4 October, Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom, and Alexander Artyukhov, CEO of United Engine Corporation JSC (UEC), signed the Gazprom Domestic Gas Turbine Equipment Cooperation Program for the period until 2030.

Gazprom’s Chairman told the students how to become a successful leader and named the greatest values of today’s business.

The award ceremony took place on 4 October as part of the 8th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum. About forty of the largest companies in the industry participated in the finals of the competition.

On 3 October, within the framework of the 8th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, the National Gas Vehicle Association of Russia (NGVA) and the Korea Association for Natural Gas & Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (KANFV) signed a cooperation agreement.

Alongside with the business events and the exhibition, SPIGF-2018 is running the Youth Day: Dialogue of Generations - a discussion platform bringing together oil and gas specialists and students of leading specialized universities from Russia, Germany, China and 10 other countries of the world. The program of the Youth Day includes workshops, a case-tournament, a plenary session, an "off-tie" meeting with leaders of international energy companies, and a cultural program for students.
