Everybody trade! Agrorus geography amazes and surprises

The Agrorus Trade Fair brings together representatives of all Russian regions. Even the vendors from the Far East, Altai and Siberia have come to St. Petersburg. Those from abroad have come too.

For the second year in a row tea and fragrant herbs are offered at Agrorus by Elena, an entrepreneur from Volgograd. Her one-of-a-kind fruit tea with cedar cones is a must try.

"Agrorus is a place with very kind, warm and hearty atmosphere. Nice management. And our regular clients like coming here for real-life communication and an opportunity to try and to smell everything right here," says Elena.

It’s a curious experience to compare the Volgograd tea with the Ceylon one. There is a tent with goods from Sri-Lanka at Agrorus-2022. Aside from the tea straight from the plantation, rice, smart spices that never overpower the meat taste and Samahan, a healing drink made of 14 herbs, are offered here. The latter helps diabetics and people with high blood pressure.

Next to natural sun-dried fruits without any additives and freshly squeezed pomegranate juice, representatives of Armenia sell their goods. And geographical ‘neighbors’ of Sri-Lanka from India have unfolded a large tent with national goods at Agrorus for the first time.

“We sell all the natural, organic Indian goods: creams, shampoos, balms. All of them contain no chemicals. Our products help to build up health, cleanse the blood and strengthen the joints. We have already been working in Russia for 15 years. It is particularly precious for us now, when Russia and India are turning into strategic partners on the global arena. We appreciate strong Russian-Indian friendship and try to promote its development”, says Sunil, a colorful vendor from India.

"We come here because it’s delicious here": why you need to go to Agrorus

What a fair without songs and dances? Next to the Indian tent, on a large stage, your favorite artists perform every day. There are virtuosic musicians, participants of the "Igrai Garmon" show, a show ballet and many others. There is a special entertainment area for children with a shooting range, carousels and a huge inflatable trampoline which brought particular joy to little visitors. Parents simply could not lure them out of there, even with food.

Though the food court smells were tempting. Flamboyant Caucasians were grilling shashlik on the open fireplace. No one could resist that aroma: queues lined up for the dish directly from the grill. But enough for everyone. There are 10 more days of Agrorus, the most largescale and magnificent trade fair.

We are waiting for you at the ExpoForum from August 26 to September 4, from 10:00 to 19:00. There are free shuttle buses from the Moskovskaya metro station and a parking lot for car owners. Hurry up to fill the refrigerator with delicacies and plunge into the unique atmosphere of a traditional Russian fair! Learn details on the website.
