Starcon

Starcon is the largest festival of science fiction, fantasy, movie, science and cosmonautics in Russia and countries of CIS. Every year Starcon unites famous scientists, cosmonauts, writers, bloggers and thousands of enthusiasts of science, astronomy, fantastic and fantasy fiction, movies and games. Since 2012 takes place in St. Petersburg.

The festival consists of 3 main zones:

• science section;
• exhibition area with thematic stands, that represent decorations from books, comics, movies and etc.
• main stage with various show programs and cosplay competition.

In 2015 Starcon was visited by over 40 000 fans of science fiction and cosmonautics as well as famous scientists, cosmonauts, writers and popular bloggers.
