The Peterfood exhibition is supported by the Committee of business development  and consumer market of St. Petersburg. Since 1991 the exhibition promotes (или has being promoting) business activity (или business development), including small and medium-sized businesses.

Uniting producers and distributors of food products on one platform, the Peterfood exhibition helps to raise competitive capacity of companies, to develop the retail trade of the city, to increase food product variety according to needs of different segments of customers and to satisfy consumers' demand of St.Petersburg residents.
