Ekaterina Bakeeva, a member of the Presidential Council of the EFR, read the welcoming speech of Marina Sechina, the President of the EFR: “The Hipposphere unites people from the most remote regions of our country on one platform. Business representatives, athletes, amateurs, thousands of spectators and guests gather here. All this indicates the importance and scale of the event. I would like to note that the exhibition is becoming more intense and interesting from year to year. This time, special attention shall be paid to supporting the development of children's and pony sports.”

Andrey Lyulchenko, the President of the St. Petersburg Equestrian Federation, wished fruitful cooperation, good mood and wonderful weather to all those present.

Viktor Loktionov, the President of the Equestrian Federation of the Leningrad Region, expressed his gratitude to the organizers: “Thank you to Sergey Georgievich Voronkov for entrusting us to hold such a serious event and for the first time it is being held at Derby Equestrian Club. During its life, international, national, regional and local competitions have been held here, but such an honourable event as the Hipposphere equestrian exhibition is being held for the first time, it is a great honour for us. Such events give a great impetus to the development of equestrian sports.”

Dmitry Zaitsev, General Director of Rosippodromy Joint Stock Company, shared his impressions: “From year to year, the exhibition brings together professionals and amateurs of horseracing from all over Russia. Together we preserve our national traditions, share our experience, success and joy, together we promote our domestic horse breeding. I am sure that these four days shall be held at the highest professional level. We shall see more than twenty horse breeds, enjoy demonstration performances, and the new open air format shall certainly give everyone positive emotions.”

Vitaly Morozov, Rector of the St. Petersburg State Agrarian University, noted that the university supports and actively participates in the event, students are volunteers of the project, and stressed that today, in order to get a good education, you can be enrolled in the animal science and work with horses.

Sergey Voronkov, General Director of Expoforum International, congratulated on the opening of the exhibition: “This is a double holiday, because we are returning to ourselves what makes us human: the possibility of human communication, which has become a luxury during the pandemic. We also bring back communication between horses. Today, there are more than 150 heads of different breeds in the stable, which shall take part in breed rings, competitions and shows. More than 50 events in the program shall take place in four days. Expoforum is the best friend of animals! The complex hosts about a dozen zoo events every year. In addition, we are opening the exhibition on the eve of the Day of Russia!”

The XXII International Exhibition Hipposphere is held from 11 to 14 June in Derby Equestrian Club and is the central event of the country for representatives of the equestrian industry and horse lovers. The main partner of the event is Dynavena horse feed.
