The exhibition-fair Agrorus-2021 should be!
The Presidium of the Coordination Council of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region in the field of socio-economic development decided to support the efforts of the two regions in the preparation and holding of the 30th agro-industrial exhibition-fair Agrorus-2021.
The meeting was chaired by Vladimir Knyaginin, Vice Governor of St. Petersburg, and Dmitry Yalov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Leningrad Region, Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development and Investment. Sergey Voronkov, General Director of ExpoForum International, spoke on behalf of the organizer about the preparations for the upcoming event. The jubilee status obliges to conduct it at a high professional level, but in compliance with all the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor.
Agrorus is the only long-lived agricultural exhibition in Russia, which has crossed the 30-year mark and won the indisputable authority of the industry. For many years, the project has been supported by the relevant ministry (the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia), the Government of St. Petersburg and the Government of the Leningrad Region, JSC Rosselkhozbank, the Department for the Development of Horticulture of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. Over the past decades, the project has become the most important platform demonstrating the potential and mechanisms for the development of small and medium-sized businesses and agricultural cooperation in the Russian agro-industrial complex, the results of the implementation of state tasks laid down in the 2030 Agro-Industrial Complex Development Strategy.
The jubilee Agrorus-2021 shall host expositions of Russian regions, food and processing industry enterprises, manufacturers of equipment, technologies, products and services for agriculture and food processing industry, an exposition of agricultural machinery. In parallel, there shall be a large-scale Farmer's Fair, an autumn harvest festival with themed days, festivals, tastings and a varied cultural and entertainment program, which is traditionally very popular among residents of St. Petersburg and guests of the city.
The Presidium members made a unanimous decision to support the anniversary project, inform agricultural, food and food processing enterprises in the region and recommend them to take part in the exhibition, business program, and present finished products at the farmers' fair. Vladimir Knyaginin emphasized the importance of the Agrorus project for St. Petersburg, thanks to which the city promotes its products, concluding contracts for their sale to other regions, and negotiates the supply of agricultural raw materials and products, which, in turn, are needed by the Northern capital.
The organizers invite all interested specialists to take part in the work of the 30th anniversary agro-industrial exhibition-fair Agrorus. Participation in the project shall allow demonstrating the real potential of the national economy of the regions of Russia, shall contribute to the development of agribusiness and the strengthening of regional ties, which is one of the most important elements of a unified state policy aimed at strengthening and developing the Russian Federation.
