PAP-FOR 2021 Exhibition and Forum Opened in EXPOFORUM

PAP-FOR, the most important event for professionals of pulp and paper, forestry, processing and packaging industries, has started out on November 9. Key actors and competent experts of the industry met in the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre to share experience, get to know equipment suppliers, and discuss new projects. The exhibition and forum will last up to and including November 12. The event has united over 130 companies from 11 countries of the world.

The F Pavilion of EXPOFORUM now features Volga and Yenisei, but it’s not about the great rivers, but about conference halls of the 16th International Exhibition and Forum for Pulp and Paper, Forestry, Processing and Packaging Industries PAP-FOR. They are to host 8 roundtable discussions and conferences with participation of leading industry experts from Russia, Spain, Germany, Turkey, Czech Republic, China, Italy, and other countries. They will address issues of energy-efficient manufacturing, means of resource conservation and process decarbonization, as well as prospects and trends of pulp and paper industry development.

CEO of EXPOFORUM International Sergey Voronkov and CEO of RX Russia Yury Stolbovsky cut a red ribbon to celebrate the long awaited event. The previous PAP-FOR project had taken place three years before.

Sergey Voronkov noted the importance of the PAP-FOR project on the international arena.

“The pulp and paper industry is a rapidly developing one, so, in my opinion, it’s high time for organizers of the project to consider turning it into an annual event. Thus, we’ll be able to track global trends of paper processing and manufacturing and keep pace,” he said.

Also, CEO of EXPOFORUM International compared convention and exhibition events with a ‘vaccine’ that creates a collective business immunity. “Real life communication, energetic discussions, a visual personal contact with exhibition displays – all of it improves our physical and psychological health,” Sergey Voronkov said.

Yury Stolbovsky greeted the participants, “We find ourselves in constantly changing circumstances, so today it’s incredibly important to unite experts of the industry for experience exchange and business development. PAP-FOR covers multiple aspects of the industry operations, its evolution, various cases, new formats, discoveries and opportunities.”

These are the biggest market actors among participants of the PAP-FOR Exhibition and Forum: Syktyvkar Tissue Group, Arkhbum JSC, Segezha West PPM, Siemens Energy, and others.
