45 employers presented vacancies for St. Petersburg residents aged 50+ at the “Job Fair” within the XVI International Forum “Senior Generation” on October 11–12 at Expoforum.
28 employers were present in person at the stand of the Employment Service of St. Petersburg, the rest were present online. Vacancies were presented by: Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Russian Broadcasting and Alert Networks – St. Petersburg”, NPO “Impulse” JSC, State Unitary Enterprise “TEK SPb”, St. Petersburg State Unitary Enterprise “Gorelektrotrans”, ODK-Klimov JSC, Confectionery Association “Lyubimy Krai” JSC, Factory named after. K. Samoilova JSC, Iney LLC, Plant “Radiopribor” PJSC, St. Petersburg GBSUSO “PNI No. 7”, OSFR for St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region, Military Representation of the Russian Ministry of Defense and PBO System LLC (“Vkusno i Tochka”).
Applicants were offered vacancies as an economist, a financial consultant, a military representative specialist, a psychiatrist, a nurse, an electrician, an electric gas welder, a process engineer, a turner, a mechanic, a baker, a candy maker, a photographer, a security guard, a driver and many others.
Over the course of two days, the Fair was visited by 1,276 people.
The site also hosted employer presentations, group and individual consultations, and job selection. Career consultants of the Employment Service taught job seekers how to competently present their professional experience and correctly compile a CV.
The organizer of the event is the Employment Service of St. Petersburg with the support of the Committee for Labour and Employment of the Population of St. Petersburg.
