Ten thousand pets take part in the festival – dogs and cats of various breeds, reptiles, ferrets and rodents.
The main task of the «Zoosphere + Zooshow» project is making popular the responsible attitude to pets selection, keeping and bringing up, demonstration of all possible occupations together with animals, available for everyone. The exhibition under the slogan «From new business contacts to the final consumer» is held in pavilions F and G, more than 100 companies of the zoomarket present pet food, pet carriers, toys and vitamins for animals. The gallery of the zoobusiness new products presents the just launched products to owners of nurseries and breeders – from food and garments to veterinary medicines.

Representatives of the best dog breeds are determined in the mono-breed rings and at the biggest in Russia international exhibition CACIB-FCI «White Nights». Hundreds of breeds from Russia and foreign countries assemble for this exhibition at the Zooshow for the second time already. Every day experts select the best of the best at the Best in Show.

Exhibition performances of dogs and their masters will take place on the first day in the main ring. Spectators will see competitions in «Pitch & Go» (ball throwing), frisgility (frisbee and agility), «Together» contest (man and dog on the obstacle course) organized by the Cynology Sports Federation. «Dogs & Sheep», the first in Russia show organized indoors, will be the culmination of the day: herding dog breeds will demonstrate their skills in exercises when it’s necessary to hold the herd and control it – from enclosure to pasture.

The best friends of men dance in the next ring with their owners at qualifications for the World Cup and Europe Cup in dances with dogs. «Young Handler» and «The Pride of Motherland» contests will be held here as well.
The Breeds Festival is organized in this pavilion for the third time already, national clubs of various breeds assemble for it, about 25 on the whole. Experienced breeders tell the history of origination, describe the disposition and special features of every animal, answer questions and recommend how to keep pets. «Every breed was meant for performing certain functions», the organizers tell. «For example, the Dutch kooikerhondje was used for duck hunting, exactly because of that the dog is so brightly coloured, it’s joyful and active. This breed is ideal for agility». A potential dog owner learns from such stories if the breed suits his way of life, and if everything suits him, he can come to an agreement about buying a puppy at once.

International cat exhibitions are located in the other part of the pavilion. Nearly 1,000 purring darlings compete according to WCF, Tika, Farus, WACC, FIFe, МFА systems. Kittens are also exhibited and sold here.
Rodent fans will find an entertainment at the Rodent Festival. Extreme rat agility, educational quiz games dedicated to rabbits, fashionable pet costume show will take place here for two days. And surely there will be expert examinations in which international specialists will take part.

A separate educational quest «Children and Pets» is organized for children. They will be told about keeping pets, special features of care, disposition and temperament in the form of a game. In one day children will visit the Dog Beauty Parlour, Cat Kingdom and Ferret Hole, get to the Rodent Kingdom, will be able to support four-legged dancers and sponsors on the Dog Arena and get to the Palace of Dogs, reach the Dragon’s Lair, Underwater World and inhabited Dog Island. Each traveler gets a present in the end of the quest.
