This year more than 100 Russian and foreign companies are taking part in the exhibition, presenting a wide product selection for dentistry. Such big companies as Johnson & Johnson, Plandent Medexpress, N. Sella, Coral Distribution Center, GVM Transit, Techno-Dent Group, North Carolina Dental Depot, Amrita and many others, are among the participants.

Innovations demonstrated by participants of the exhibition include a cartridge injector, desensitizing mousse, professional whitening systems, collagen-based biomaterials, resin cement, pulp cap liner, self-etch adhesive, Canadian burrs, dental microscopes, portable and fixed irrigators, cost-effective dental treatment units, new collections of fashionable medical wear and much more.

Traditionally the exhibition is accompanied with a saturated business program, including conferences accredited in the system of continuing medical education (CME).

Vyacheslav Makarov, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly, noted in his welcome remarks at the opening ceremony: “The representational exhibition is already taking place in our city for the 11th time, and it’s vitally important for St. Petersburg. What you are adressing are not just medical issues – it’s about providing people their social wellbeing, their health.” He expressed sincere words of gratitude to everyone who works hard in the dental industry of St. Petersburg and Russia. “Our main desire is that as many of the domestic materials and equipment among those presented here every year as possible be our own. It’s critical for our products to compete with international analogues successfully and be on par with the best global samples,” Vyacheslav Makarov emphasized.

On October 30 the business program of the exhibition was opened with the International Conference of Maxillofacial Surgeons and Dentists– ‘Modern Dentistry’ and the International Research and Practice Conference– ‘Dentistry of the 21st Century. Safe Dentistry”. The 1st St. Petersburg Professorial Open Dental Readings were held on the open demo venue, and leading dental experts from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Ufa, Barnaul and Omsk gave speeches.
On October 31 the business program of the exhibition was continued with the International Research and Practice Conference ‘Dentistry of the 21st Century. Periodontics: Realities and Prospects. Challenges and Solutions’ and the Research and Practice Conference ‘Modern Methods of Diagnostics, Treatment and Preventive Care of Dental Diseases.”

Also, on October 31 and November 1, seminars of participating companies took place on the open demo venue, while Plandent Medexpress, Profix and Amfodent invited specialists to attend seminars at their stands.
