Transneft Intends to Convert Vehicles to Gas Engine Fuel

On 4 October, within the framework of the 8th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom, and Pavel Revel-Muroz, Vice President of Transneft PJSC, signed a Cooperation Agreement.

The ceremony took place in the presence of Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom.

The signatories are planning to jointly participate in the implementation of sectoral and regional programs for the introduction of gas-engine equipment.

Transneft will inform Gazprom about its plans to introduce gas engine equipment in its enterprises.

In its turn, Gazprom will roll out the gas filling network taking into account the potential demand for gas-engine fuel from Transneft.
