Modern materials and equipment are presented here, the prospects of St. Petersburg development as an agglomeration are discussed.

The 24th International Exhibition of Building and Decorating Materials WorldBuild St. Petersburg / InterStroyExpo takes place on April 17–19. The participants are 131 companies from Russia, Belarus, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Finland and South Korea. Companies Fancy Floor, Gipca, San Marco Colorificio, Wintech Plastic, Hydrozo, Incostark, Cork Interior, Chrysotile Association are participating for the first time.

Ventilated facades, decorative facings and covers, embedded parts for monolith constructions, emptiness-formers, diode lighting, polypropylene microfiber for concrete reinforcement, dry construction and colouring masonry mortars and many other things are displayed at the exhibition.

There is the collective stand of producers from Bavaria, demo-area with new products as well as the stand of winners of the contest «Innovations in Construction 2018». The contest initiated by the St. Petersburg Committee for Construction was held supported by the St. Petersburg Building Center. Innovative products and technologies of the St. Petersburg building market were found out in the course of it.
The International Building Congress (IBC), uniting the 6th Congress of Builders from the North-West of Russia and thematic expert sessions, is held as a part of the exhibition.
The Architectural Forum ArchiSpace, the topic of which is «St. Petersburg Agglomeration: Development Prospects and Preserving Identity» and the Retail Expert Conference for representatives of chain and independent retail trading companies are held for the first time as a part of the business program.

The 5th International Exhibition of Equipment for Heating, Water Supply, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Swimming Pools Aquatherm St. Petersburg is held in the ExpoForum at the same time. 42 companies from Russia, the United Kingdom, Germany, China, Poland and Finland are taking part in it.

The leading wholesale and retail companies presenting equipment for residential, commercial and industrial sectors came to the exhibition: Interma SPb, Vilma, Hydrosnab, Toptan. Participants of the NEW ENERGY project demonstrate energy efficient and resource efficient products.
The business part of the Aquatherm St. Petersburg exhibition is represented by the 21st Conference «High-Tech Buildings». There will be workshops on the room microclimate in hotel complexes, information modeling of buildings, master class «Smoke Removal Systems».
