Under the agreement, EXPOFORUM and the Russian Union of Journalists will work together to create various events, contests, and hold joint conferences. New prizes for industrial and regional media will be established. On behalf of the Union, the agreement was signed by its head Vladimir Solovyov, on behalf of EXPOFORUM – by its Director General Sergey Voronkov.

The chairman of the Union of Journalists says there are big plans which will help implement the agreement.

“The Russian Union of Journalists comprises more than 70 thousand journalists. We are pleased to sign an agreement with one of the best convention and exhibition venues in the country. I hope we will have great success. We plan to hold regional and industry media forums at EXPOFORUM. This is a huge stratum of Russian journalism. We will work together to develop the industry,” Solovyov said.

Director General of ExpoForum International noted the importance of the agreement.

“The agreement is strategically important. Journalists are the people who make words and ideas tangible. It is difficult to overestimate their importance in shaping public opinions and trends. According to the classic, an idea becomes a force when it takes hold of the masses. Our agreement is just the case. Together we can do a lot,” said Voronkov.

Russian Industrialist International Forum-Exhibition will finish its work on December 1.
