Sergey Voronkov Joined St. Petersburg Golden Pool

In the evening on June 14, on the eve of Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, a ceremony was held in the Yelagin Palace to celebrate laureates of the first St. Petersburg Golden Pool award. Sergey Voronkov, CEO of ExpoForum International, was awarded in the nomination “For Business Image of St. Petersburg”.

On the threshold of the 25th anniversary Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum Delovoy Peterburg Publishing Company conducted its own expert research to assess the role and influence of managers/leaders in the industries that are crucial for St. Petersburg.

The project was named The Golden Pool and covered not only people of business and industrial communities, but also those involved in culture, arts, education — everyone the city can be proud of, whose activities are the city’s ‘display’.

Unlike the traditional TOP 100 published by Delovoy Peterburg, the Golden Pool is not a rating, but rather a register of the most valuable assets of the city — its people. Moreover, there can be several winners in each industrial nomination. To make it to the list not only the significance of the participant organization was considered, but the personality of its head.

In his reply speech at the award ceremony Sergey Georgievich said: “It is a great honor to receive this symbol of recognition from the city’s main business publishing company.

For two years in a row, in 2020 and 2021, Delovoy Peterburg included the EXPOFORUM brand in TOP 25 city brands. Our company is proud of these awards.

It’s notable that over the same two years St. Petersburg has been recognized the convention capital of Russia. According to the data of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), in 2021, the Neva city took the 40th place by the number of international rotated conventions, while Moscow ranked 60th only.

The credit for the quality of world-class services provided for ExpoForum International clients goes to the team of our company — “the team that exceeds expectations”. Our employees are passionate about their business, approach all the tasks creatively and monitor the most cutting-edge solutions for the industry. It allows the venue keeping the status of one of the most innovative in the country and in the world year after year.”

“I think the ceremony held today for the first time will become a beautiful St. Petersburg tradition,” Sergey Voronkov said in conclusion.
