Full members of the association lay claim to seats on the Board. The candidate is obliged to be the actual head of a UFI member company during the election and re-election.

UFI unites 684 member-organisations in 239 cities in 85 countries on 6 continents. It shares the quality sign of over 827 exhibitions and displays organised by its members. In total, UFI members every year arrange over 4,500 specialised events that attract over 1,000,000 exhibitors and 150,000,000 visitors. The headquarters are in Paris.

We recall that the first Russian president of UFI was the Vice-president of ExpoForum-International, Sergey Alekseev, who guided the association from November 2015 through November 2016.
