The signing took place in the Green Lounge of the House of Journalists during the meeting of ExpoForum International Director General Sergey Voronkov with the chief editors of St. Petersburg media. On behalf of the Union of Journalists, the agreement was signed by Dmitry Sherikh, Chairman of its St. Petersburg regional branch, on behalf of the ExpoForum - Sergei Voronkov.

Dmitry Sherikh emphasized that the signing will be a logical continuation of a similar agreement with the Russian Union of Journalists which ExpoForum International signed in early December at the International Forum-Exhibition Russian Industrialist.

ExpoForum International General Director stressed the importance of synergy between the media and the convention and exhibition industry.

“The media turn ideas into words so that they become actionable, and exhibitions and conventions materialize words into real events and solutions. Our strategic partnership will bring our cooperation to a new level and make media coverage of events even more extensive,” said Voronkov.

After the signing, Sergei Voronkov and editors of St. Petersburg media discussed trends and tendencies of the convention and exhibition industry and possible forms of cooperation.
