RUEF Concluded an Agreement with QazExpoCongress National Company JSC at SPIEF-2022

On June 16, the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs obtained a new foreign partner from Kazakhstan — QazExpoCongress National Company JSC. The Agreement enables development of shared world-class communication venues in order to drive intergovernmental cooperation in the field of convention and exhibition activities.

The Agreement was signed by Sergey Voronkov, President of RUEF, and Daulet Erkimbaev, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of QazExpoCongress National Company JSC.

“We’ll be happy to see QazExpoCongress among the members of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs. Nowadays there are already companies from Belarus and Kazakhstan among RUEF members. We’ll develop the BRICS community, I’m sure we have something to show. Today’s agreement will not only strengthen the connection within our community, but also will unite our countries even further,” Sergey Voronkov believes.

Daulet Erkimbaev expressed his gratitude for the reception in St. Petersburg. He also thinks that entering the Union is a right decision. “Our organization is an operator and owner of the largest convention and exhibition venues in Kazakhstan with the total area of 600,000 sq. meters. We also have the Astana Economic Forum launched in 2008 in the republic. We’ll be happy to invite you and other RUEF representatives to take part!” he said in conclusion of the event.

In total, RUEF and ExpoForum International will sign 11 agreements in the framework of the 25th SPIEF, and it’s a record number.
