Robots and intelligent solutions together with EXPOFORUM International
The signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between EXPOFORUM International and the Association of Enterprises for Development and Production of Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems «Industrial Cluster Consortium of Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems» took place at the SPIGF-2023 venue.
The cooperation agreement was signed by Sergey Voronkov, CEO of EXPOFORUM International, and Marina Zinina, Director of the Association of Enterprises for Development and Production of Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems «Industrial Cluster Consortium of Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems».
The agreement deals with cooperation in the field of science and innovative developments in robotics.
Marina Zinina expressed her gratitude to Sergey Voronkov for the opportunity to organize the Round Table «Robotization in the Gas Industry» as part of the SPIGF 2023, where participants will present their developments and solutions. She hopes that EXPOFORUM International and the Consortium of Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems will become «good partners» in future and will continue to hold other joint events.
Sergey Voronkov noted that the Consortium of Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems not only can, but also should become the general partner of EXPOFORUM International, and the SPIGF is one of the first joint events. «Robotics and Intelligent Systems are present at almost all industrial exhibitions, and we hold more than 20 of them a year», said Sergey Voronkov. According to him, EXPOFORUM also has a separate exhibition dedicated to robotics and automation of production. «The IT Forum will also be held next year», said Sergey Voronkov.
According to the CEO, the international market of industrial robots is already estimated at more than 40 billion US dollars. Robots and artificial intelligence are, without exaggeration, used in all areas of economic activity, from intelligence robots and industrial robots for diagnostics and remote control of oil and gas equipment to robot waiters and cashiers. Unmanned aviation and unmanned transport actively develop. Artificial intelligence has become a global international trend and a technology that has great hopes.
«Our task is to actively develop this area in Russia. As in the old Soviet slogan, we need to catch up and overtake. This requires hundreds of different events, exhibitions, conferences, congresses, where leading experts and top officials of the industry could exchange opinions, experience, demonstrate advanced achievements and developments on the same platform», commented Sergey Voronkov on the agreement signing.
«The agreement signed today implies the joint holding of such events. Thank you for your trust, we will work together for the benefit of Russia”, he said.
In conclusion, Sergey Voronkov recalled how the hero of the film «Electronic’s Adventures» Seryozha Syroezhkin sang, “Robots work hard, not a man». «Of course, no robots and neural networks can fully replace a person, but these are critical technologies that significantly increase labour efficiency and productivity, reduce the probability of errors, optimize and accelerate processes, and allow remaining competitive in the modern market», explained Sergey Voronkov.
