This year, about 200 companies will participate in the exhibition and convention programme, including over 40 exhibitors. They represent 50 Russian regions and other countries: Belarus, Estonia, Finland, Germany and China. The key theme of the event is anticorrosion protection of process equipment, piping and metal structures of the FEC.

The exhibition participants are major producers of anticorrosion protection equipment and materials in the FEC, including Scientific Production Association Neftegazkompleks-EHZ, Chemservice, TsIT-E.S., Pipeline Systems and Technologies, Energofinstroy, Plakart, Enterprise for Material and Technical Supply Permsnabsbyt, the leading European manufacturer of paint and varnish materials Teknos and many others.

The display demonstrates domestic and foreign developments and innovative projects that may interest consumers of materials, equipment and technologies of anticorrosion protection from different sectors of industry: oil- and gas-producing, petrochemical, chemical, power engineering, machine building, power machine building, shipbuilding, automobile building, construction and city management.

On the first day of the exhibition and conference, the international scientific and practical conference started “Urgent Issues of Anticorrosion Protection,” organised with the participation of Gazprom PJSC. Specialists from over 150 organisations, specialised subdivisions of the Gazprom Group, research institute Transneft, representatives from scientific, service and contracting companies discuss improving effectiveness of the anticorrosion protection systems in the FEC, introducing state-of-the-art insulating and protecting coatings and equipment, maintenance of pipeline transport systems and technical regulation, training and certification of specialists.

“Corrosion Protection” has been conducted in St. Petersburg since 1981 and is dedicated to anticorrosion protection of metals and materials in various sectors of industry.

The event will take place from 3 through 6 October with the support of Gazprom, one of the main consumers of equipment, materials and technologies of anticorrosion protection. On these same days, the 7^th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum will be taking place.
