The Government of St. Petersburg Congratulated Expoforum and Lenexpo on Anniversaries
Alexander Beglov, Provisional Governor of St. Petersburg, congratulated ExpoForum-International for two memorable dates: first pavilions of Lenexpo Exhibition Complex were opened half a century ago, and in 2008, stakeholders of the company started putting the project of the most modern convention and exhibition center into life – Expoforum.
In his congratulations, the Head of the city noted that forums and exhibitions of international scale are held on a constantly high level in the Northern Capital, thanks largely to activities of ExpoForum-International. “Having a unique infrastructure and meeting high international standards, Lenexpo and Expoforum are included in TOP-5 largest venues of their kind in our country. Expoforum is recognized as the most modern European center for business, culture and entertainment events. I’m sure these venues will continue to keep leading positions in this industry,” Alexander Beglov noted. The Provisional Governor of St. Petersburg also wished the company further development and prosperity, as well as new labor achievements for its employees.
The task of ExpoForum-International is development and consolidation of the Russian MICE industry and global market penetration. It is planned to attract at least 4-5 global congresses annually to the venue with total participation of 2,000-5,000 people. Employees do not apply their experience of membership in world communities, such as ICCA or UFI in the company only, but transfer it to the entire industry of the country, in part with the help of the RUEF, the executive direction of which has moved to St. Petersburg.
