Ponies, Gypsy Horses and Klepper

At «Hipposphere 2024», the breeding farm «KoniPoni GILICOB» will present ten of its horses: seven Gypsy Horses, two Mini-Shetties – miniature Shetland ponies, as well as an Estonian Klepper.

«KoniPoni GILICOB» has been operating since 2020 in Vsevolozhsky District of the Leningrad Region. The farm is engaged in breeding Gypsy Horses and Mini-Shetties.

«In Russia, we have the largest number of Gypsy Horses – 13 horses», says Veronika Gil, the owner of the farm.

A Gypsy Horse is a versatile family horse to be well suited for amateur sports.

A Mini-Shetty is a horse-companion.

«They are perfect for small children and are suitable for working in harness or riding horseback for children weighing up to 25 kg», said Veronika Gil.

The Estonian Klepper is a crossbreed between a Shetland Pony and an Altai Horse. Horse breeders love this breed for its small size, resistance to the cold weather and friendly disposition.

«This is a horse of my daughter, who is engaged in Western disciplines», notes Veronica Gil.

«KoniPoni GILICOB» participate in the Exhibition for the third time, and some horses will appear there not for the first time, as they have already taken part in rings and shows. For example, this time the horses of the farm will take part in the Show «Legends of the Wild West», in the western show, as well as in several rings.
