St. Petersburg technical fair and st. Petersburg Partneriat opened in expoforum

These days, the leading Russian and foreign enterprises came to the Northern capital. The ExpoForum holds the St. Petersburg Technical Fair (PTFair), HI-TECH Exhibition and St. Petersburg Partneriat of small and medium business on March 20-22.

More than 200 companies from 20 regions of Russia and 11 countries – Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Belarus, the Ukraine, India and others – are taking part in the fair and exhibition. They are metallurgical, machine-building and machine-tool building enterprisers, manufacturers of high-tech products and other representatives of the real sector of economy.

The PTFair demonstrates the key sectors of industry. This year, the following sector expositions were included in it: «Metal working. Machine building», «Metallurgy. Founding», «Fixing. Hardware. Tools», «Plastics. Polymers. Rubber Products», «Lifting and Transportation Equipment», «Automation of Industrial Enterprisers».

The participants are Votkinsk Plant (Udmurtia), Volgastalproekt (Nizhny Novgorod), Gomel Founding and Normalized Units Plant (Belarus), Electrostal Metallurgical Plant (Moscow Region), Novokramatorsk Machine-Building Plant (Ukraine), Sukholozhsk Fireproof Plant (Sverdlovsk Region) and many others.

The «High Technologies. Innovations. Investments» Exhibition (HI-TECH) is the first in Russia event in promoting high technologies, innovations and investment projects in the science and technology field. The exhibitors are state research centers, research institutions, higher educational establishments, enterprisers and technoparks.

One of the key opportunities for the HI-TECH Exhibition participants is the contest «The Best Innovative Project and the Best Scientific and Technical Development of the Year» held by the Ministry of Science and Technologies of Russia for the 23rd time already. This year, 125 projects and designs in machine-building, metallurgy, metal working, instrument making, robotics, nanotechnologies, information and educational technologies, ecology, biotechnologies, medicine were sent to the contest.

Participants of the exhibition and contest come from 12 cities of Russia – from Barnaul to St. Petersburg, Byelorussian cities and Ukrainian Novokramatorsk. ALROSA, Russian diamond mining company and the leader of the diamond extraction world sector, takes part in the exhibition and contest for the first time with six projects.

The conference «Technological Rearmament of Enterprisers: Challenges of the New Times» and events of the 12th St. Petersburg Partneriat of small and medium business «St. Petersburg – Regions of Russia and Foreign States» are held as a part of the PTFair business program. St. Petersburg Partneriat stimulates cooperation of enterprisers, development of subcontracts by big industrial enterprisers, use of the latest industrial technologies as means to enhance competitiveness of manufactured products, creation of comfortable conditions for establishing contacts and looking for new partners, clients, investors. Experts discuss modernization of production, issues of industrial cooperation, conversion, entering global markets.

The St. Petersburg Technical Fair takes place on March 20–22 and demonstrates the state and prospects of the Russian industry and science development, creates conditions for establishment of partnership relations between enterprisers.
