Advanced technologies as a growth factor in the gas industry

The exhibitors of the exhibition «InGAS Stream 2023 – Innovations in the gas industry», which took place within the framework of the SPGF-2023, were companies developing innovative products and technologies, design organizations and research structures involved in the implementation of strategic development projects of the country.

NKMZ-Group, one of the leading equipment manufacturers and technology developer for the oil and gas industry, presented the CRUISER NEXT GENERATION centrifuge, which has no analogues in Russia, with an intelligent control system for cleaning drilling mud. An important feature of this unit is the automatic adjustment of operating parameters when exceeding the maximum permissible torque on electric motors, in adjusting the supply of the screw pump and the differential speed of the screw. This function allows you to prevent overloading and “clogging” of the centrifuge, which reduces downtime for cleaning the centrifuge and possible repair of components.

«Gazprom Gazomotor Systems» LLC showed at the Exhibition innovative technologies helping improve localization of manufacturing gas cylinder equipment and its components. The developments have already been applied in the new production facility in the Moscow Region, where the technological assembly line for cylinder valves and car refueling devices has been installed. The stand specialists told the Forum participants about their experience in the sale of spare parts for compressor equipment for automotive gas filling compressor stations and meters, gas pressure regulators for gasification purposes.

LNG-operating agricultural machinery, gas engines, the mobile refueling station PAGZ-7000, the cryogenic fuel tank, and the fuel-filling column manufactured by «RariTEK». The Exhibition star was the «Rostselmash 2375» LNG Tractor of Traction Class 6, the first gas product in the line of «Rostselmash», developed jointly with «RariTEK».

Rustem Galiullin, Development Director at “RariTEK Holding” JSC, noted the company’s non-standard approach to the exposition preparation: “If we omit the value of the technical characteristics of the exhibits presented by us (they are already obvious and impressive), then we would like to focus on how actively the visitors of the Forum are interested in our stand. Please note: guests come to our stand most often and have their pictures taken. It was important for us not just to be technical, but to approach the design of the exhibition with a soul and emphasize the fact that RariTEK is a company with a human face.”

The stands of automotive giants – KAMAZ PJSC and URAL Automobile Plant JSC – also aroused great interest among the participants of
SPGF-2023. “KAMAZ” presented three new gas-powered vehicles. For the first time, the company demonstrated to the public the mobile workshop KIPiA 62501, manufactured on the basis of the shift gas-engine bus «KAMAZ-6250» The vehicle has been developed specifically for the oil and gas industry, it is mainly intended for carrying out repair and maintaining KIPiA at facilities remote from stationary repair bases. Another exhibit is the NEFAZ-5222 suburban gas-powered low-floor bus, the efficient solution for organizing corporate personnel transportation. The stand of «KAMAZ» PJSC also presents a new inline six-cylinder engine with forced ignition, powered by natural gas.

The «URAL Automobile Plant» demonstrates the bus «Vezunchik», with its capacity of 42 seats, intended for transportation of shift crews. The bus cross-country capability is already called legendary by many people: the URAL 4320 chassis and powerful wheels allow the vehicle to move on asphalt, concrete, dirt surfaces and even without it, as well as on ice crossings, highway departmental driveways and rough terrain.

Among important exhibitors of “InGAS Stream 2023” Innovations in the Gas industry”, there is “Prosoft-Systems”, a company to develop and implement high-tech devices and software for the oil and gas, energy and other industries. «Prosoft-Systems» presented the software and hardware complex «AstraRegul», for building distributed control systems in the oil and gas industry, implemented on the basis of the AstraRegul PC and the REGUL RX00 PLC. Among the novelties, there is the REGUL R050 controller for building local and distributed automated control systems.

Most of the Exhibition showpieces demonstrated that the integrated approach to customer service in the gas industry is always a competitive advantage and the guarantee of stability in the market, the opportunity to “bind” the customer to yourself for many years.

PJSC «Tyazhpressmash» presented well completion equipment at its stand: configuration options, hydraulic packer for collar cementing (PPMC and PGMCU), well screens and unidirectional valves. Dmitry Sedov, Head of the Service Department of the plant, clarified, «We are an exclusive supplier of equipment for units of PJSC «Gazprom», equipment produced by our company is used in almost all its wells. Our scientific and technical centre is engaged in developing innovative equipment.  PJSC «Tyazhpressmash» manufactures this equipment, and the trading house then supplies it to «Gazprom». We are proud of such a large-scale cooperation».

Other exhibitors also shared their pride in working in Gazprom's projects. Dmitry Tishliev, Deputy Chief Engineer for diagnostics of gas pumping units at «Vega-GAZ», said at the Exhibition, Over 65% of our projects are related to automation of the technological process of gas extraction and pumping, which is why we are here. We manufacture and supply automated video surveillance and process control systems, and strive for making the result of our work as efficient as possible for such a significant customer”.

Ruslan Mansurov, Head of the Automation Department at “RNG Engineering» from Ufa, also stressed importance of turnkey work, and emphasized unlimited capability of import substitution, «Equipment often has a Western origin. Gradually, the parts fail, and replacement relevant in its technical specifications is required, so the customer requests to us for developing a domestic analogue for the imported piece of equipment to have failed. So, we develop flare tips fully complying with all international standards, and they can replace imported spare parts. In the last year and a half, the number of orders has increased many times, the order portfolio is almost full even for 2024. We are provided with work».
