The second meeting of RSPP was dedicated to exchange of opinions on the situation in the global and national economy, analysis of objectives that require joint efforts of the state and business.

The President noted significance of enterprises that represent RSPP: “The companies you represent are truly systemically important as we call them. They are tied with complicated cooperation and trade chains – both in Russia and the entire world. And you know from your business practice, you feel the challenges both national economy and global markets face.” He also addressed the audience with a question about how companies implemented measures to protect their personnel from risks of epidemic, outlined the importance of providing employment, incomes of citizens, protection of well-being of the Russian families and their confidence in the future.

Vladimir Putin emphasized that “in the current situation it’s critical for the state, business, civic organizations and all the citizens to act smoothly together, to understand a shared responsibility for how our country will overcome this challenging and tense stage.”
