Official delegations examined the expositions of RIEF’21

On the first day, the event attracted the attention of professionals and city authorities.

Sergey Dregval, vice-governor of St. Petersburg, and Andrey Bondarchuk, chairman of the Committee for Energy and Engineering Support, together with representatives of specialized IOGV, industrial and scientific associations and universities of the city, examined the stands of the participants.

At the stand of the Government of St. Petersburg were presented the developments of subordinate enterprises of the engineering and energy sector: State Unitary Enterprise "TEK SPb", St. Petersburg State Budgetary Institution "Lensvet", GKU "Customer Management" and St. Petersburg State Budgetary Institution "Energy Saving Center". The guests of the forum were shown samples of the latest solutions in the field of monitoring heating networks and the safety of equipment, as well as modern LED outdoor lighting fixtures with the ability to intelligently control.

The company AIRTIME (MEGA-TEK) presented a draft machine for removing combustion products from the boiler plant. This installation provides maximum efficiency, the least energy consumption and the only one of its kind. A heat-insulating casing is stretched over the fan casing to prevent heat emission to the external environment. It also provides a sound-deadening function.

The stand of the Lenenergo training center attracted the attention of Sergei Dregval with its interactivity. The equipment presented at the stand makes it possible to carry out diagnostics in the format of virtual reality and immerses you in the environment of production activities with the feeling of the student's presence in each episode of the technological process. Wearing a virtual helmet, the trainee is immersed in a three-dimensional, realistic space, where the process of operating the equipment goes step by step. Thanks to modern equipment, specialists of the electrical complex will gain real skills in operating equipment for digital substations and digital distribution networks. The program includes training in methods of operational and technological management, maintenance and operation of equipment, as well as work with specialized software modules.

The stand of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University presented a 3D printer that has no analogues in the country. According to Andrei Rudskoy, the rector of the university, instead of the usual powder, the printer uses a special wire: “We not only teach students, but also carry out scientific developments, carry out orders from corporations.” According to him, products made on a 3D printer have already found demand from state corporations.

As part of the tour, the official delegation headed by the vice-governor also visited the stand of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.

Major industrial manufacturers presented at the exhibition solutions for the automation of substations and distribution electrical networks (multifunctional controllers), developments in relay protection and emergency automation, cable support systems for complex industrial facilities, industrial explosion-proof electrical equipment, as well as solutions aimed at increasing the efficiency of automated control of power facilities and power systems.

The Russian International Energy Forum and the specialized exhibition "Energy and Electrical Engineering" are held in conjunction with the St. Petersburg Technical Fair and the Exhibition of Innovative Projects HI-TECH at the Expoforum Exhibition and Convention Center. The exposition features more than 50 stands.
