Major international oil and gas business event to be held in St. Petersburg for the eleventh time

St. Petersburg International Gas Forum will take place on September 13–16, 2022, and will bring together leading experts to discuss the challenges of the industry and future developments in the oil and gas sector.

The SPIGF-2022 business program includes twenty thematic tracks. The program will cover all areas of the industry: from exploration and gas production to transportation, consumption and processing. Experts will pay special attention to import substitution in the oil and gas industry. The forum will widely cover the environmental agenda, technological developments using artificial intelligence, and personnel issues. Apart from the traditional topics, new subjects will include gas production in the Arctic zone, underground gas storage, strengthening of the gas dialogue between Russia and Asian countries, and others.

The main event of St. Petersburg International Gas Forum will be the Plenary Session “Russian Gas Industry: Development Priorities in New Conditions” with the participation of representatives of the major oil and gas companies.

The pavilions of ExpoForum will feature a large-scale exposition of technology, equipment and services for the industry: International specialized exhibition InGAS Stream 2022 – Innovations in Gas Industry, Corporate exposition Import Substitution in Gas Industry, International specialized exhibition Gas Motor Fuel, International specialized exhibition of gas industry and technical means for gas industry ROS-GAS-EXPO. This year SPIGF will host OMR 2022, the International exhibition and conference on shipbuilding and development of high-tech equipment for the development of the Arctic and continental shelf. Integration of OMR 2022 into St. Petersburg International Gas Forum will make the event even more informative and demonstrate the potential of Russian and international practices in the development of marine energy resources.

Gazprom, HMS Group, United Metallurgical Company, Gazprom Burenie, Cosmos Neft-Gas, Gazprom Mezhregiongaz, Severstal, Salavat Catalyst Plant, Almaz-Antey Concern, Pipe Metallurgical Company, Vega-Gaz, Zagorsk Pipe Plant, RUMO Plant and others confirmed their participation in the Forum. Future industry leaders and top executives from global oil and gas companies will traditionally meet as part of Youth Day, a unique project that allows students to present a fresh perspective on the future of the industry, and partner companies to access the best young talent from around the world. The project participants will share innovative ideas and solutions in the field of energy and develop a new vision of the further development of the fuel and energy industry.

This year, Russia-Africa and Russia-Kazakhstan dialogues will be held at the forum. Kyrgyzstan will be the partner of SPIGF-2022.
