EXPOFORUM Designers Known All Over the World

A team of EXPOFORUM International designers won the 22nd International Fair Poster Competition organized by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) in cooperation with the International Fair Plovdiv (Bulgaria).

The Competition comprised two nominations – the first for an art object promoting the exhibition industry in general, and the second for an existing poster of a certain exhibition/event. This year the competition itself has been dedicated to the promotion of the exhibition industry in general, and posters that highlight the Face to Face theme in the context of the Global exhibition day.

In total 49 posters from exhibition centers of Europe, Asia and Latin America were entered for the competition. The jury estimated posters on the basis of the following criteria: interpretation of the exhibition theme, design concept, integrity and originality of presenting technical parameters, dates, venues, exhibition names and many more.

As a host of the UFI Global Congress in 2018, EXPOFORUM International presented a poster for the first nomination. The concept of the mock-up was to promote the exhibition industry through a major Russian symbol – a nesting doll that symbolizes unity and integrity, wealth and fertility.

Designers presented nesting dolls as five different industries: industrial, ecological, ethnic, technology/IT and natural, while all those spheres were united by the exhibition industry under one roof. To promote the Face to Face concept, nesting dolls were placed face to face, so that they looked at each other, and the one at the end looked at the viewers.

During the UFI Congress designers were granted an award certificate as a prize.

Winning posters are promoted across the entire exhibition community through UFI, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. They are also widely covered in the press, such as through UFI Info and other large international exhibition media.
