Until 2022, only about 10% of the burners for boilers in boiler rooms were produced in Russia, the rest was purchased abroad. But in 2022, due to the sanctions, many foreign companies stopped deliveries. This has led to the increase in domestic production, and now domestic equipment occupies about 25% of the Russian market. Viktor Zavatsky, Technical Director of «Alamak» LLC, told about this at the Presentation Day “Proactive Import Substitution in the Oil and Gas Industry: IT, Equipment and New Technologies”.

The speaker noted that some of the supplies have switched to the parallel import scheme, and except for domestic companies, the vacant niche is occupied by Turkey, China and Iran. According to him, in a few years, all the equipment in the boiler rooms can become completely domestic.
