International online-conference “Russia-Turkey: horizons of international cooperation in the field of shipbuilding”

Turkey is in a TOP-10 countries trade-partners of Russia by the volume of trade exchange. In 2020 in the background of world-trade reduction, export-import operations between the Russian Federation and Turkey have decreased as well, including trade operations in shipbuilding.

For strengthening interaction between Russian and Turkish shipbuilding and shipping companies NEVA-International, the organizer of the NEVA international exhibition and the St. Petersburg Export Support Center are holding an online conference with the support of the Turkish Association of Shipbuilders and the Turkish Association of Ship Exporters and yachts. The linguistic company “EGO Translating SB” provide language support.

The conference program includes three thematic sections:

  • Analytics of the shipbuilding market in Russia and Turkey. Perspective of evolvement of Russian-Turkish cooperation in the field of shipbuilding/
  • Potential of the Russian shipbuilding market and the possibility of localizing Turkish companies in Russia
  • Export-import cooperation

The invited guest are representatives form the largest shipbuilding associations of Turkey, officials from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, members of scientific centers, manufacturers of ships and equipment of the two countries. Participants of the conference will get acquainted with Russian and Turkish innovations, will get the opportunity to exchange experience with colleagues. The Russian audience will be presented with exclusive information about exports to Turkey and the promotion of their own products. The program also includes an overview of components, components, diesel plants, engines and other shipbuilding products of Turkish manufacturers.

The conference is organized in a hybrid format (on the ZOOM platform and a TV studio for Russian speakers). Participation is free, by prior registration. The event is included in the program of international maritime online conferences, which are held from November 2020 to May 2021 by NEVA-International, the organizer of the NEVA exhibition and conference, in cooperation with industry unions and associations with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
