«Poultry farming is one of main branches of the agroindustrial complex of the Leningrad Region. In the recent period of difficulties in the country, related to production of eggs and poultry meat, it was the Leningrad Region that provided its products with increased demand in the country. We occupy the first place in Russia in terms of egg production, and the fifth place in terms of poultry meat production. And the industry increases production every year, this is facilitated by introduction of new production facilities of the «Roskar», «Sinyavinskaya», and «Severnaya» poultry farms. It is gratifying that this year our poultry farm «Oredezh» begins the large-scale renovation process with new development plans. Its contribution will be significant in achieving our goals of 5 billion eggs and 400 thousand metric tons of poultry meat per year», said Oleg Malashchenko, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Leningrad Region, Chairman of the Committee on Agroindustrial and Fishery Complex.

At the Exhibition «Agrorus 2024», the agreement was signed between the Committee on Agroindustrial Complex of the Leningrad Region and Rustem Mirgalimov, a representative of Agrocomplex Oredezh CJSC, on cooperation in implementing the investment project for construction of a new egg poultry complex, and reconstruction and renovation of the existing one. The new production facilities will increase production of chicken eggs by 600 million pieces per year, and create more than 280 jobs. The cost of the project is 5.5 billion rubles.

The agreement signed with Aleksey Belyaev, General Director of Sinyavinskaya Poultry Farm named after the 60th Anniversary of the USSR JSC assumes the increase in egg production by 166 million pieces per year. The cost of the project is 500 million rubles.

Valery Krivonosov, Executive Director of Severnaya Poultry Farm JSC, signed two investment agreements with the Committee on Agroindustrial Complex: on construction of new poultry houses for 700 thousand heads of broiler chickens per year, the increase in meat production by 10 thousand metric tons per year, worth 1.2 billion rubles, and construction of the workshop for preparation of extruded feed, with its capacity of 73 thousand metric tons of products per year, worth 700 million rubles.
