The Leningrad Region renovates dairy production
5 agreements on renovation and expansion of existing dairy farms in the region for the total amount of 1.354 billion rubles were signed at the 33rd International Agroindustrial Exhibition «Agrorus».
«Today, the Leningrad Region is a leader in dairy farming in Russia. And for keep the championship, we must always improve ourselves and move forward, so almost all of our farms are continuously renovated, building new farms, milking parlors, and improving equipment. They invest a lot of money and efforts, while doing it quietly and calmly. We asked them to publicly sign agreements at «Agrorus», so that you could see their merits in renovating the industry. The President of Russia has set the task for the regions to increase agricultural production by a quarter by 2030. Our renovated farms will allow the Leningrad Region to increase the amounts and reach the production of 1 million metric tons of milk per year», said Oleg Malashchenko, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Leningrad Region, Chairman of the Committee on Agroindustrial and Fishery Complex.
The agreements signed at «Agrorus» will in total increase dairy production in the Leningrad Region by 16,900 thousand metric tons per year, the livestock will grow by 2,220 heads, at least 50 new jobs will be created, and investments will amount to 1.354 billion rubles.

The agreement signed by Aleksander Lebedev, General Director of Gatchinskoye JSC, provides for the increase in the number of cows by 100 heads, milk production – up to 1 thousand metric tons per year. The cost of the project is 150 million rubles.
The agreement signed by Petr Sherenkov, Director of Osminskoye CJSC, will increase the number of cows by 100 heads, and milk production – by 1 thousand metric tons per year. The cost of the project is 70 million rubles.
Under the agreement signed by Nur-Magomet Kappushev, General Director of Krasnoozernoye Breeding Plant JSC, the company will build the new technological barn building for 320 heads, with a gallery and a separation shop, which will increase milk production by 3.2 thousand metric tons per year. The cost of the project is 124 million rubles.
The agreement signed by Nikolay Tikhonenko, Director of Andreevskoye Agricultural Enterprise PJSC, involves the commissioning of barns for 1,000 cattle heads, a maternity ward and a building for calves. The project will increase milk production by 8 thousand metric tons per year. The cost of the project is 500 million rubles.
The agreement with the Director of Berezovskoye CJSC, Magomed Yarakhmedov, on construction of a 700-head livestock farm will increase milk production by 3.7 thousand metric tons per year. The cost of the project is 510 million rubles.
