Focus on spring: beauty industry professionals gather at Expoforum

The Intercharm Professional Exhibition of professional cosmetics and equipment for clinics and beauty parlours was opened on 8 February, bringing together leaders and new players from the beauty industry. The recent achievements in cosmetology, dermatology, trichology, aesthetic medicine, plastic surgery and related sectors were demonstrated over three days.

Owners and managers of clinics, beauty parlours, studios and spa centres, distributors of professional cosmetics, tools and equipment for beauty parlours, cosmetologists, dermatologists and venereologists, chiropodists, trichologists, dietologists, anti-age and permanent make-up specialists traditionally gather at Intercharm. It is expected that up to 4,000 people will come to the exhibition over the 3 days.

The 3rd Intercharm Professional St. Petersburg open congress in cosmetology and dermatology is being held on 8 February, the opening day of the exhibition. This year the congress is dedicated to modern anti-age cosmetology. The main topic is methods of working with the skin’s age-related syndrome and new possibilities in cosmetology. In addition, treatment and correction methods to deal with skin pathologies (scars, scratches, problematic skin) are being presented and special features of working with male patients discussed.

Mario Gisbert, a legendary specialist in permanent make-up, will speak at Intercharm. The secrets of permanent make-up universal techniques will be revealed and the latest technologies discussed at the conference “Revolutionary Innovations in Micro-Pigmentation. ‘Mario Gisbert and Friends’ World Tour”.

In addition, managers and owners of salon businesses will see examples of beauty parlours’ legal audits, get information about independent assessment procedures as to specialists’ skills, and learn how to create a rival to clinics from a beauty parlour.

More than 150 brands from 7 countries are being exhibited – China, Greece, Germany, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Korea and Russia. There will be a separate special RosBrandPRO section for the second year in a row, where guests can assess cosmetic products made in Russia. The Lamaris brand of professional cosmetics based on seaweed, ArtLine manufacturer of medical wear, cosmetics with Baikal herbs, developer and manufacturer of medical equipment TRIMA, and the CHIOS company making Russian equipment for lifting, cryolipolysis, vacuum and roller massage, are among the participants at the exhibition.
