Curly Yanzhima from Tyumen will surprise every one with her beauty

The farm «Museum of Russian Horse Breeds» from Tyumen will present the Vladimir Heavy Draft named Tikhiy and the Transbaikalian Curly mare Yanzhima at «Hipposphere 2024».

According to the co-owner of the farm, Ksenia Safronova, she and her husband are actively promoting the breeds that they plan to bring to the Exhibition.

«The Vladimir Heavy Draft appeared in our museum, because, having got interested in Russian breeds, we paid attention to it. Then we switched to Altai and Orlov Trotters, and the Transbaikalian Curly Horse», recalls Ksenia Safronova.

The feature of Transbaikalian Curly mares is that they do not interbreed with the same curly steeds, but only with straight-haired ones. Therefore, there are curly and straight-haired horses among the Transbaikalian breed.

Besides its rare beauty, the Transbaikalian Curly horse has other advantages. This is a very hardy breed, with excellent health and strong physique. It can withstand frosts up to minus 50 °C, and is also very undemanding in terms of maintenance.

«And yet its zest is curls. It is completely curly, like a lamb, and therefore always attracts attention. That’s why, we could not help but purchase it», explains Ksenia.

The Vladimir Heavy Draft, which will be brought to «Hipposphere» by the farm «Museum of Russian Horse Breeds», also deserves attention. In Russia, in the 19th century, it was a very common breed bred for transportation of goods.

«These are exclusive, beautiful horses that you are unable to stop looking at», noted Ksenia Safronova.

Moreover, these horses are old enough to be transported and shown, she added.
