Results of the exhibition KUB EXPO "Personnel. Control. Safety"
The V Specialized exhibition KUB EXPO “Personnel. Control. Safety "and the St. Petersburg International Labor Forum, which were held from April 22 to 23 at the Expoforum convention and exhibition center, were attended by 5160 people in 2 days.
A specialized exhibition in the field of occupational safety and personnel development of KUB EXPO “Personnel. Control. Safety". The largest exhibition event in the North-West dedicated to achievements in the areas of labor protection, industrial safety, industry IT solutions and services for training and development of employees, attracted more than five thousand visitors in 2 days (according to registration data - 5160 people). Among them were heads of companies, representatives of federal and regional authorities, health and safety specialists, managers of the PPE procurement department, heads and specialists of HR departments and other industry professionals. More than 30 companies presented their developments and services at their stands. KUB EXPO is traditionally held within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Labor Forum. KUB-2021, which was successfully held despite the difficult time for large events, became the fifth anniversary.
The exhibition was opened by Dmitry Cherneyko, Chairman of the Committee on Labor and Employment of the Population of St. Petersburg. In his welcoming speech, he drew attention to the fact that the pandemic has made the exhibition even more relevant.
- Time has no power over the KUB, it's not for nothing that the cube is one of the symbols of eternity, just like the pyramid, - said the chairman of the Labor Committee, - everything related to personnel, management, labor protection, safety culture and personal protection will exist exactly as long as there is a person.
- We have felt the creation of labor safety, its importance and significance as never before in the past months,” added Vladimir Kotov, President of the Association of Developers, Manufacturers and Suppliers of Personal Protective Equipment.
- One of the most important tasks of our industry - health and safety - is the creation of a professional community. And such events as the Labor Forum and the KUB EXPO exhibition work precisely for this purpose, - said Nikolai Krivozertsev, member of the Public Council at Rostrud, CEO of EcoStandard group in his welcoming speech.
The partners of the exhibition were the EcoStandard group company, НR-service НH.ru and the Alandr industrial safety center, which for the second time showed the public a visual high-altitude testing ground for the demonstration of equipment and technologies for working at height and in confined confined spaces. In the framework of the demonstration performances, companies such as Honeywell, Vento, Safe-Tec, Petzl, CAMP, 3M and Drager presented their equipment in action.
The official partner of the exhibition, EcoStandard group, organized a number of professional business events within the #safety track. Two panel discussions were held on changes in legislation in the field of labor protection and the prospects for digitalization in this industry. A seminar was organized on the involvement of the team in safety issues and the development of leadership qualities among employees of all levels. And as part of the workshop "Injuries in labor protection" and the interactive game "Investigation is carried out by SOT" speakers and participants talked about the importance of accounting and analysis of micro-injuries and incidents at enterprises. In addition, EcoStandard group presented a new media platform for health and safety professionals - EcoStandard.journal. The online magazine aims to provide experts and practitioners with relevant, useful and free content.
Traditionally, the KUB EXPO exhibition consisted of two main blocks: "Labor protection and labor safety" and "HR, professional development". For each of these areas, thematic stands were presented from manufacturing companies and developers from all over Russia, universities, educational institutions, service providers, seminars, discussions, round tables were held. All types of PPE were traditionally in the center of the exposition. In this block, visitors could get acquainted with promising domestic developments, for example, respirators for protection against toxic dust, asbestos, mercury vapors, mold spores, radioactive dust, especially aggressive viruses and bacteria from the Wall company, or Ansell gloves, which simultaneously protect against cuts and punctures, shock, low temperatures and other adverse factors.
Universities did not stand aside either. At the SPbGASU stand, a computer training program "Smart Labor" developed within the walls of the educational institution was presented using a VR system - augmented reality glasses immersing a highly detailed virtual environment.
Within the framework of KUB EXPO, the final of the competition of the Design Solutions Laboratory "Green Light" was held. More than 200 students and young professionals from 10 regions of Russia took part in the competition. The project was supported by 25 Russian universities, as well as the Russian Ecological Society. In the final at KUB EXPO, the jury evaluated the 10 best design works from participants from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Ufa and Stavropol. The winners were: Andrey Voitenko from Stavropol with the project "Development of a model of a bactericidal ventilation system" (4th place); Lada Tokareva, St. Petersburg, “Comparative analysis of emission dispersion calculation models” (3rd place); Varvara Volzhankina, Moscow, “Developing an AR application for identifying risk factors in the workplace” (2nd place). Ekaterina Kabanova from Moscow was recognized as the winner of the Green Light competition with the project “Development of a universal phytodesign map for residential premises”.
“Our task is to give children the opportunity to present their ideas and projects at Russian and international venues, which in the future will transform the system of labor protection and environmental protection in Russia and the world,” said Vera Kuzubov, President of the Green Light Foundation.
More than 2200 business negotiations took place in 2 days at the site of the Business Contact Center: more than 1000 on the topic "Labor protection" and more than 1000 with the management of HR departments of large companies in Russia. On the part of potential customers, such companies as PROCTER & GAMBLE, "Northern Capital Gateway", the State Hermitage Museum, McDonald's, Russian Railways, Russian Post, ZENIT-ARENA, LENFILM, Alexandrinsky Theater, 419th Aviation Repair Plant, took part in the work of the CDC. KELLY SERVICES CIS, Glavstroy SPb and more than 70 large employers. Traditionally, the event was highly appreciated by both suppliers and buyers.
This year, the main topics of the V St. Petersburg International Labor Forum, 115 events of which lasted a total of 5 days and gathered more than 6,000 participants and tens of thousands of online listeners, were the restoration of employment and income during the pandemic, as well as the modernization of the Employment Service of the Russian Federation in accordance with the challenges of the time. The forum gathered the best HR practices and designed a new format for the Russian Employment Service. This year she celebrates her thirtieth birthday.
At the KUB EXPO exhibition, all workers in the sphere of labor, represented by the Committee for Labor and Employment of St. Petersburg, were congratulated on this date by the General Director of ExpoForum-International Sergey Voronkov:
