One day left before the start of the Maritime Congress in Vladivostok!

The key event of the Day One will be the Plenary Session «The Far East as the Flagship of the Russian Maritime Industry in the New Coordinate System».

The core report on the role of Primorsky Krai in development of shipbuilding and ship-repair service in the Far East will be delivered by Oleg Kozhemyako, the Governor of Primorsky Krai.

The participants of the Maritime Congress will be addressed with welcoming words of Lyudmila Talabayeva, member of the Federation Council Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management, Ms. Piao Yangfan, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Vladivostok, and Mr. Siddarth Gaurav, Consul General of the Republic of India in Vladivostok. 

At the Plenary Session, Gadzhimagomed Huseynov, First Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Development of the Far East and the Arctic, will talk about motivation and development of the marine industry in the Far East, including transport infrastructure, logistics, shipbuilding and the fishing industry.

Aleksey Klyavin, President of the All-Russian Industrial Association of Employers «Russian Chamber of Shipping», will speak about developing sea and river transport in terms of business.

Sergey Tseluiko, General Director of the shipyard, will present his report «Zvezda» Shipbuilding Complex as the Core of the Shipbuilding Cluster in the Far East».

Sergey Kulikov, General Director of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, will talk about promising projects and the support for the maritime industry in the face of the sanctions in Russia in general and in the Far East in particular. 

Nikolay Chvertko, Director of the Far-Eastern Shipping Company’s Branch in Vladivostok (FESCO Transport Group), will speak about prospects of construction at Russian shipyards for FESCO as the largest national transport operator.

Savely Karpukhin, General Director of the Russian Fishing Company (RFC), will present the RFC as a driver for development of the fishing industry in the Far East.

The Plenary Session will be moderated by Pavel Railko, Editor-in-chief of «RBC Primorye».
