Four Thousand Dogs Are Waiting for you in EXPOFORUM!

The Dog City exhibition opened in the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre on October 22. The best representatives of their breeds steal hearts of residents and guests of the Northern capital with their tricks, cute muzzles and even dances! You can visit the exhibition on October 22–25, both dates included.

The Dig City is one of the most large-scale animal exhibitions in Russia. This year, four international CACIB-FCI dog exhibitions will take place at once in the framework of the project, and champions will be named every day.

Besides, visitors have an opportunity to buy high-quality food, toys, and accessories for their pets and to talk to breeders. Also, at the exhibition one can find a fluffy friend to give home to, since during the entire project the Wind of Change Festival of Shelters will work.

On October 23, mono-breeds will be held to feature the King Charles Spaniel, the Brussels Griffon, the Russian Toy, the Sheltie, the Poodle, the Affenpinscher, and others. Also, White Nights, the all breed CACIB-FCI exhibition, will be held. From 10:00 to 16:00 qualification and all-comers dance with dogs contests are waiting to be seen by visitors.

On October 24, mono-breeds will be held again to feature the Lakeland Terrier, the Jack Russel Terrier, the Shiba Inu, the Russian Hunting Sighthound, and other dogs. Also, the White Nights Cup International Exhibition of all breeds (CAClB-FCI) will work. From 10:00 to 16:00 visitors will be able to enjoy dances with dogs at the White Nights Contest.

On October 25, the CACIB-FCI White Nights Symphony dog exhibition will take place. Besides, the performance of trainers and a demonstrational program of the Police Dog Unit will take place. Noseworking, a new canine sport, which is essentially a search for organic things by their smell, will be presented. Pets will look for spices and kitchen herbs. In practice, service dogs that work at the customs or in law enforcement authorities, use a noseworking skill to detect forbidden substances.

Also, everyday visitors are welcome to take part in free painting, sculpturing or even programming workshops, as well as in drawings, lectures, interactive activities, and socializing with pets.

On the threshold of the Dog City exhibition, Mikhail Tkachenko, a head of the project, and Anastasiya Bakhchevan, a cynologist, together with Belgian Shepherd named Red, were invited as guests to Utro v Peterburge (The Morning in St. Petersburg) on Sankt-Peterburg Channel.
