Winners of all breed rings (there were 11 this year) participate in the selection of the Absolute Champion. The best horse becomes the one that best matches its breed. Each judge puts the horses in places independently (1-11). The horse with the lowest score wins.

The general ring of all the winners was held among representatives of trotting, Arab, purebred Akhal-Teke, Kabardian, Terek, pony, Russian Don and Budyonny, Trakenese, heavy draft and heavy-harness, local (aboriginal) breeds and half-blooded sports horses of Western European selection.

The 3rd place was awarded to the audience's favorite, the Svyatoslava mare of Vladimir breed owned by peasant farm enterprise of Maria Domanina. The vice-champion of the exhibition was the wonderful Nalmes of the Kabardian breed, the owner is Ruslan Zekhov, the Republic of Adygea. The champion was the stallion Rubezh of the Soviet heavy-duty breed; he shall be the face of the advertising campaign of the next year's exhibition. The champion owner Yuri Shkarev has been engaged in the Soviet heavy draft breed since 2012.

The XXII International Exhibition Hipposphere is held from June 11 to 14 in Derby Equestrian Club and is the central event of the country for representatives of the equestrian industry and horse lovers. The organizer of the breed rings is the All-Russian Research Institute of Horse Breeding.
