Guaranteed safety at Expoforum events!

The Expoforum convention and exhibition center has received a QR code confirming the safety of its events and observation of the requirements set by Rospotrebnadzor.

Achieving this QR code with the “Safe Travels SPb” sign is the mandatory official procedure for organizations carrying out exhibition activities, to confirm their observance of all safety standards and rapid reaction to pandemic recommendations. This practice is in effect in St. Petersburg and, of course, has meant a reduction in infections in the city.

It is worth noting that the methodical recommendations adopted by Rospotrebnadzor were developed by industry experts with consideration for the specificities of the events. Convention and exhibition events are different from mass gatherings, where the amount of people and the fact they are all in one place makes it difficult to manage them, such as sporting events or concerts. With the help of engineering services, technological solutions, and a strict schedule, MICE event organizers are able to control the visitors in the center, ensure medical safety, and predict visitor numbers.

Expoforum, which is planning more than 90 events before the end of 2020, has implemented necessary and modern solutions to meet safety standards. The traditional shuttles from Moskovskaya metro station will undergo additional cleaning after each journey during events. Buffer zones have been established on the platforms and PPE vending machines have been installed. Contactless “remote registration” has been but in place for event visitors and participants. Modern contactless thermal cameras are on hand to measure temperatures. The conference program has been drawn up with consideration of the necessary distanced seating, breaks for disinfection, and comprehensive cleaning before and after each event.

On 29 August, Expoforum will host its first event since the beginning of the pandemic – the AGRORUS exhibition and trade fair. The organizers’ anxiousness is understandable, but all visitors can expect the festival they have come to expect – a concert program, a fish market and a farm with pets, farm produce from various regions, and goods for healthy eating.

Right now what everyone needs is some fun and a safe, lively chat! Even better if it’s officially approved.
