Consolidation as the key to success

On 24 January, an agreement was signed between ExpoForum International and RESTEC concerning the terms for organising and holding exhibitions at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre in 2014–2018

This important event opened the Venue Management session at the third Europe+Asia Event Forum (EFEA). The agreement was signed by RESTEC Events Managing Director Tatiana Golubeva and General Director of ExpoForum International Sergey Voronkov.

“This is the first time in Russia that an agreement for guest projects has been signed for a period of five and more years. Under the agreement, ExpoForum International takes legal responsibility for protecting its guest exhibitor’s projects by ensuring that no competitive activities are conducted at the convention centre for the period specified in the agreement”, Sergey Voronkov said.

According to Mr Voronkov, in the past year long-term strategic cooperation agreements to develop the exhibition industry on mutually beneficial terms have already been signed with 12 leading convention and exhibition organisers, both Russian and international, including Primexpo, Kino Expo, ROSTEK-Tamozhinform, Yarmarka Nedvizhimosti, ITE Group, Reed Exhibitions, Dolphin Exhibitions, Messe Dusseldorf and Messe Essen.
