One of the world's largest shipbuilding exhibitions NEVA began its work at Expoforum

From September 18 to 21, the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center is hosting the 17th International Exhibition on Civil Shipbuilding, Shipping, Port Activities and Ocean and Shelf Development
NEVA 2023.

The key industry event of the year brought together more than 700 exhibitors and over 30 thousand specialists from Russia, the CIS countries, India, China, Turkey, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Republic of Korea, South Africa and other countries. The exhibition is unprecedented in its scale. For the first time, it occupied all four Expoforum pavilions; its area exceeded 30 thousand square meters.

Thematic tracks include the shipbuilding industry, sea transport ships and icebreakers, sea passenger and cargo-passenger ships, navigation systems and communications, hydraulic engineering and transport construction, materials, components, equipment, safety in navigation and much more.

Top officials of shipbuilding companies, representatives of government authorities, relevant departments, business and science will discuss key trends and developments in the industry – digitalization, development of domestic technologies and import substitution, human resources. The business program includes two large thematic sections: “Shipbuilding as a driver of Russian industry” and “Shipping and innovation in modern realities.”

Key events – plenary session “Russian maritime industry: new priorities against the backdrop of global challenges”, conference “Personnel in shipbuilding: overcoming shortages and increasing potential”, “Renewal and development of the fishing fleet: constructive dialogue for the sake of a common cause”, “Northern Sea Route as the basis of economic sovereignty and a factor in new global logistics: realizing the potential of the route”, strategic session “Russian ports: a new impetus for the development of port services”, round tables “Floating power units as a modern and environmentally friendly way to supply energy to coastal and remote territories and industrial facilities”, “Marine transportation in the direction of the Kaliningrad region: features and rules for applying preferential rates”.

International business dialogues “Russia – China” and “Russia – Turkey” will take place. Together with our international partners, we will be able to find answers to the global challenges of the time in the shipbuilding industry.

During the exhibition days, free shuttle buses run from the Moskovskaya metro station to Expoforum every 20 minutes starting from 9 am.
