New Project Comes to EXPOFORUM

On November 14 the strategic partnership agreement was signed between EXPOFORUM International and the non-profit partnership Union of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Clusters of Russia.

The partnership agreement was signed by Sergey Volkov, Deputy Director General for Commerce of EXPOFORUM International, and Zakhar Golant, Chairman of the Board, NPP Union of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Clusters of Russia.

The organizations agreed to develop connections in the field of the promotion of pharmaceutical and medical congress and exhibition events. The need for uniting efforts of the state, the exhibition business and public health service appeared long ago. It’s this agreement that should form a stable union of three segments. The first step was the relocation of the International Partnering Forum ‘Life Sciences Invest. Partnering Russia’ to the venue of EXPOFORUM, to the new umbrella event - St. Petersburg Medical and Pharmaceutical Forum ‘MedIn’ which is planned to be held next year, in October. This Forum will become a venue for the implementation of city tasks in the field of public health service, and the demonstration of its competencies and achievements in medicine and pharmacy. Due to integration of ‘Life Sciences Invest. Partnering Russia’ into MedIn, pharmaceutical and medical industries will develop not only regionally and federally, but also internationally.

We are growing and developing. I very much hope that due to our partnership a greater number of largescale medical events will appear in St. Petersburg, and EXPOFORUM will be a reliable venue to unite large medical enterprises from across the country. Therefore this not only concerns the development of the pharmaceutical industry, but also of medical events, on a more global scale,” Zakhar Golant noted.
