Sustainable growth: 4,000 meetings of suppliers and buyers in the Business Contact Centre at Agrorus

On August 30 and 31, Business Contact Centre (BCC) operated within the framework of the 32nd International Agro-Industrial Exhibition Agrorus-2023 where negotiations between suppliers and buyers of food and agricultural industry took place.

Over the 2 days, more than 4,000 negotiations took place, with more than 100 buyers and more than 50 suppliers visiting the BCC site. In the purchasing zone, manufacturers demonstrated new products at specially equipped stands.

For the first time, the Business Contact Centre was deployed on two sites. At the first one, federal retail chains and leading restaurants of St. Petersburg held direct meetings with new suppliers. The second one was intended for negotiations between agro-industrial complexes of the NWFD and the Russian Federation and agricultural suppliers.

Representatives of the following companies participated as members of the purchasing teams: VkusVill, Magnit, Dixy, Auchan, Fasol, Azbuka Vkusa, X5, Perekrestok, Real, Semishagoff, Dobrotsen, Sezon, Svetofor, Alyans, SUPER BABYLON, ROSNEFT gas station chains, Lyubit Kormit, Zhivi Naturalno, Pivtochka, Eurofoods, Gutsait Group, Tokyo City, Ginza Project, ITALY GROUP, Novaya Gollandiya, Okhotnichy Klub, Baltia Management Hotel, HIGH SEASONS, GORKGORKI GOLF & RESORT, Vvedensky Hotel, PhosAgro, RusAgro Group, Myslinsky breeding farm, Losevo agroholding, Udarnik poultry farm, Detskoselsky Concern and others.

Suppliers presented new products from different regions of Russia: St. Petersburg, Moscow, Tver, Tuapse, Leningrad, Moscow, Bryansk, Vologda regions, Karelia, Crimea, as well as Belarus.

Consuls of Malta, India, Hungary, Tajikistan visited the BCC site as guests of honor.

On August 31, the conference “Presentation day of agro-industry for homestead farms with the participation of leading federal trade networks and agricultural enterprises” was held within the framework of the Business Contact Centre. The speakers were representatives of Magnit retail chain, PhosAgro, Rusagro, high-tech innovative companies-residents of Ingria business incubator, and the Russian Union of Rural Youth.

The key topics of the conference were agro-contracting, the latest solutions to accelerate the arrival of farm products on the shelves of chains stores, formats of cooperation between retailers and farmers, as well as advanced technologies for livestock breeding and farming.

The participants highly appreciated the productivity of the meetings and the rich program of the Business Contact Centre and expressed their willingness to visit the event next year.
