The Real Estate Fair has taken place in St. Petersburg twice a year since 2000 - in spring and autumn. Over 18 years it has become a significant event for the real estate market of St. Petersburg. At the grand opening ceremony Sergey Volkov, Commercial Director of EXPOFORUM International, noted that the Real Estate Fair was taking place in EXPOFORUM for the 8th time, and the exhibition space is getting larger and larger every time. “Buying residential property is always the beginning of a new life, a contribution to future welfare, and a great opportunity and prospect for us, our children and our parents. Buyers choose their future homes with great responsibility: the market offers a lot of options, such as smart residential property, euro apartments, town houses, duplex apartments, and private houses, buying property in a house under construction or getting an apartment from the current owner. Here, at the Fair, you can see the best options,” Sergey Volkov emphasized.

Participants include the city's biggest construction companies, mortgage agencies and banks, leading realtors, developers and constructors of residential property outside of the city, as well as foreign real-estate agencies. Visitors choose apartments in low and high-rise houses and townhouses in Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad Oblast. This year a negotiation center for private investors called “Real Estate – Into Profit” has been organized.

All stages of country house construction, from the choice of the project and building materials to design of the interior and beautification, are displayed at a special exposition titled “Building a Country House”. Participating companies demonstrate technologies, materials and novelties of the construction industry in several areas: design and construction of houses, turnkey houses, engineering, basements and geodetic work, roofing, building and finishing materials, etc.

There are 6 themed halls at the exposition, where practical specialists give lectures and masterclasses for three whole days for buyers of residential property and those who are planning home construction or improvement. In addition, specialists give reviews of new buildings, reveal discounts and special offers for builders as well as the risks of shared-equity construction, investments in real estate in Russia and abroad and much more.
