The International forum-exhibition Russian Industrialist will be held on November 28–30, 2023, in the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre (St. Petersburg). The main theme of the event: “Sustainability and Development: Key Technologies, Role of the State, Human Resources for Industry, New Contours of International Cooperation.”

These and other decisions were approved at the meeting of the Forum Organizing Committee chaired by Alexander Shokhin, president of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, which took place on January 19, 2023 in the office of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (Moscow).

The meeting approved the concept and architecture of the Forum presented by Sergey Voronkov, Director General of ExpoForum International, member of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Deputy Chairman of the Forum’s Organizing Committee. The Organizing Committee also agreed on the conditions of participation in the business and exhibition programs of the project, partner packages and key dates of the plan of preparation of the Forum-Exhibition.

The meeting participants supported Alexander Shokhin’s proposal to involve the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia in the preparation of the program and exhibition of the Forum and to include participation of creative industries in the Forum on the topic of industrial development.

First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of Russia on Economic Policy and Deputy Chairman of the Forum Organizing Committee Denis Kravchenko proposed to address the Russian Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Education and Science on behalf of the State Duma Committee regarding the support and participation in the Forum business program and exhibition. The Organizing Committee supported the proposal.

The meeting participants also discussed and accepted proposals for complementing the business program with activities to discuss the development of machine tool industry, industrial design and human resource capacity in the industry, on holding a contest with awards for regional exhibitors, expanding cooperation with foreign media, etc.

The next meeting of the Organizing Committee will be held in April 2023.

The Forum co-organizers are the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Government of St. Petersburg. The project operator is ExpoForum International.
