The Organizing Committee of the “Russian Industrialist” Forum discussed formation of the business program of the event

On May 16, the President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) Aleksandr Shokhin held the second meeting of the Organizing Committee of the International Forum-Exhibition “Russian Industrialist-2023”.

The interim outcomes of formation of the business program and exhibition exposition of the Forum, which will be held at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre in Saint Petersburg on November 28-30, 2023, were discussed.

The meeting was participated by Sergey Voronkov, Member of the RSPP Board, President of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs, Olga Goryshina, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Industrial Policy, Innovation and Trade of Saint Petersburg, Mikhail Lobin, First Vice President of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Saint Petersburg, Anna Lyatsu, Managing Director of the Corporate and External Communications Department of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Maria Glukhova, Executive Vice President of the RSPP, Aleksandr Murychev, Vice President of the RSPP for Financial Policy and Economic Sectors Development, Aleksey Matushansky, Director of the Department of Strategic Development and Corporate Policy at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and others.

Following the report of Ivan Polyakov, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee, the Forum draft program and the Exhibition draft plan were proposed to be approved with the option of further adding new events.

Aleksey Matushansky, Director of the Department of Strategic Development and Corporate Policy at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, named industrial design, career guidance, and unmanned aircraft systems among the topics for the Forum sessions to be preparing by the Department. Anna Lyatsu, Managing Director of the Corporate and External Communications Department of the RSPP, informed on the events prepared for the RSPP Forum.

Olga Goryshina, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Industrial Policy, Innovation and Trade of Saint Petersburg, proposed to hold the Contest of Regional Industrial Policies at the Forum venue, as well as announced plans to present at the Exhibition over 40 companies from Saint Petersburg, operating in the field of pharmacy, medicine, IT and others.

Mikhail Lobin, First Vice-President of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Saint Petersburg, reported on the work on involving the Forum participants from the banking sector. Besides, according to him, representatives of various regions of Russia expressed their intention to participate in the Forum.

“The intention to participate in the Forum was announced by representatives of Orenburg, Sverdlovsk, Tver, Nizhny Novgorod Regions, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republic of Crimea”, Mikhail Lobin said, noting that the Forum draft program includes events on industrial tourism, as well as sessions on HR policy.

By results of the reports, Aleksandr Shokhin, Co-Chairman of the Organizing Committee, the RSPP President, offered to accept the proposal to expand the Forum working groups, as well as to form new working groups: on international work, on industrial design, on organization of the exposition of the Moscow Polytechnic Museum.

The next meeting of the Organizing Committee of the “Russian Industrialist” Forum will have been held by September 30, 2023.
